Stable House

A converted Victorian stable block, hidden away deep in the Surrey Hills, the client was after a compact albeit relaxed family home.

Downsizing from a far “grander” property nearby, the children haven flown the nest, we sought to imbue an essentially “cosy cottage” scheme with nods to a more manorial scene. A modern, light-filled kitchen extension juxtaposes - and compliments - the more traditional architecture of the building.
